Bed was very comfortable and rooms were very clean.
Clean, comfortable, convenient and a very competitive charge.
"easy access" to the free wifi proved to be highly temperamental and almost impossible to access and I am usually very good at getting on line with my Mac hardware. Lack of Mac compatibility through AirAngel portal may be a factor as PC users seemed to fare far better.
In comparison to another Express I have stayed in (Grange Park, Northampton) I thought that the breakfast was far better executed. Generally superior hotel than I would expect for an Express
Having to pay to park to car
clean spacous room in good location. Helpful staff
This is the best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Every aspect of the hotel is superlative for its class.
Hotel rooms quite big, value for money. Short taxi journey into Leeds city centre.
Small gripe that reception staff didn't tell us about breakfast so didn't know we had it included and missed it by 5 mins and couldn't get anything. We didn't enquire but I feel staff should inform you on check in.
Clean comfortable room and nice breakfast
Woken up by people next door at 3am
Helpful hotel staff, availability of on site car parking, ease of access to city centre by bus, ease of getaway by close ringroad and motorways, This is a no frills hotel which serves as an excellent base for activities elsewhere and for resting in between.
No evening meal is served Friday - Sunday. This may have been mentioned on the website, in which case it was my fault for not noticing.
Convenient and totally handy for where I wanted tto be in Leeds
Rooms nice and ability to chose own heat in rom a bonus.
Breakfast was abysmal. Eggs tasted powdery. Only scrambled egg and sausage as warm selection. Chocolate and coffee out of machine was watery and rubbish. Croissants looked and tasted dry. Very dissapointing!
The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable. We couldn't get the wifi to work (that might have been us!) and the breakfast was basic but overall it was excellent value and a convenient location. The car parking was an added bonus.
Very convenient, comfortable and clean - what more do you need for a short stay near a city centre?
maybe we are soft Southerners, but the room was a little cold for my taste but nothing drastic.
clean, good breakfast, good situated to reach the centre of the city,
A very clean hotel
I thought the breakfast was poor - I had stayed the night before at the Holiday Inn Express in Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the breakfast was a much higher standard.
